Is YOUR life “worth living”?

July 18, 2010

Everybody has their own idea as to what makes life worth living.  Here’s one we saw this evening while driving home from the talk we attended with Hemant Mehta and Todd Daly:

From my photo album; Religion

And they think we atheists are the arrogant ones.

I’ll write about the Mehta/Daly discussion tomorrow, probably.  It was interesting.

    Arrogance knows no bounds.

This sign reminds me of some that you see where it seems the folks have a list of sayings to post on their signs.  Some are good, some obviously not.  Some are “cute” with plays on words, puns, etc.

What are they thinking?  This person in Christ doesn’t find them helpful, as in this case.  Forgive us!

    Thanks,

Ah, but the opposite is even better ;-)
Contrary to what they’re trying (and failing) to imply ;-)

I’d rather come to the opposite conclusion, myself.  The bastard was always eating my food and drinking my tequila.

C’mon, I wanna know the name of the lame pastor!

If he were unusual, I probably would have left his name there but he’s not.  Not at all.  And I don’t want to let all the others off the hook.

I’ve been writing up the evening’s notes, and trying to edit.  Sheesh, where to begin?  Will leave out anything about Mehta, because anyone can just go to his website, but the theology professor?  Such a nice person, espousing such muddled nonsense in such erudite terms…

More of an editing problem than I expected.
