The amazing and the ridiculous

Whew! After the Terri Schiavo post I need something ridiculous to get past that “serious” feeling and here it is:

It might seem ghoulish to get such a laugh out of someone dying but you just have to marvel at how stupid people can be sometimes. And here’s a couple more! Over at that EmCee of Electricity, Mostly Cajun: Here’s some other times it happened. These are real candidates for the Darwin Award.

I must admit that the Darwin Awards are one of my guilty pleasures. I can’t help but to laugh at the unfortunate people who manage to do so much for the human gene pool by taking themselves out of it. I really don’t understand what some people are thinking. Then again I’ve had some close calls that probably would have gotten me elected for a Darwin Award, so I guess I can’t be too critical….
