1. Here is a test comment to see if the captcha works in the preview screen. I have edited the “Preview” template.

I am not logged in so this should simulate the conditions of a non-member leaving a comment (I hope)

2. Now looking at preview screen, noting that captcha does appear, though of course it is a different ‘word’ than before. Entering word and clicking “submit”...

Sorry about that - the last thing i want to do is make it more difficult for anyone to comment, especially those who take the care to “Preview”!

You can skip the captcha by registering an account here. I’ll take another crack at the templates and see if I can figure it out.

I am not using accounts on my blog, but this reminds me that I need to comb through my blogroll. I recently realized I had links to a couple that disappeared into the ether long ago, and where there is smoke there is likely to be a lot of smoke.

There is a problem I’ve been meaning to mention… If I compose a comment and then click Preview, it will not allow me to Submit, giving an error that I must enter the captcha thingy secret woid, which I had already done on the composition page and which does not exist on the Preview page. It’s a dead end…
