What are we waiting for?

Arguments against clean energy technology, against conservation, and in favor of doing “more of what we’ve always done” just leave me dumbfounded.  We’ve known for at least forty years what we will need to do.  But we just keep putting it off.

  1. We do not get serious about any problem until it reaches crisis level. Unlike most problems, I believe this one has a critical mass, beyond which there will be little we can do.  Climate is the one problem that I am pessimistic about.
