Must be nice to sleep that easily
The setup: Oscar is sleeping in his favorite window. I’m just outside that window, installing a new piece of siding. Five 2.25-inch nails, five or six hammer blows each. And here is his response:

He didn’t even open an eye. Mind you, this is the same 13-year-old cat who will wake up, jump off his perch and come into the kitchen if he detects the faint sound of a Rubbermaid container being opened…
Ahhhh…. kitty.
My cat (Scratchy) is much younger than Oscar, so when I start playing Nine Inch Nails loudly, he’ll open his eyes, look annoyed, and fall right back asleep.
Posted by Lucas on 09/28/08 at 01:56 PMThere’s a quote I remember from long ago:
“Cats are rather delicate creatures, and they suffer from a great many ailments, but I have never heard of one that suffers from insomnia.“

Posted by Breakerslion on 09/28/08 at 03:03 PMIt seems our cats never cease to amaze us.
