Preferring poetry to pugnacity

Seems like the best response to the Christian activists who disrupted a Hindu prayer in the US Senate

I was going to complain about this shameful outrage in the US Senate, but instead decided to share…

one of my favorite poems, written by the greatest literary genius of the 20th century.

I don’t know why;  it just seemed to fit my mood better.

And what the heck, here’s another.

  2. That first Dr. Seuss poem really had a profound impact on my life.  I heard it, can’t remember where, when I was really young.  And it actually made me stop and think about the world and what do as a whole group of humans to others.

    I think it was around that time I decided to stop judging people and treating them differently.  I decided there was no need to make fun of people for who or how they are.

    It truly was a sad day when Dr. Seuss died…
