What does it matter if a candidate doesn’t believe in evolution?

Let him count the ways…

University Of Chicago professor Jerry Coyne explains why it matters that presidential candidates admit to not believing in evolution: Don’t Know Much Biology.  It’s too good to cut up into teaser-clips; go read!  and pass it on.  Let’s get a president who understands science.

  1. I must say I really enjoyed that piece.  I really appreciated how he showed that a basic misinterpretation of Science can and appears to lead to a disintegration of our understanding of Science in general.  Which is a shame.  Because Science and Faith do not have to be mutually exclusive.
