I’ve had cars broken into multiple times. I had somebody slice the roof of a convertible I owned to gain entry—when the door wasn’t even locked!
Somebody crowbarred a glove compartment open, because I had (foolishly, one might say) locked it (nothing of value inside). I could go on, but why bother.
Sorry to hear of your woes. And I didn’t know you had your own blog, MrsDOF.
That just sucks. I hate that feeling of vulnerability mixed with anger.
You might be able to fix up a USB webcam pointed at the cars. I bet you could rig up something fancy with a motion sensor from one of those flood lights. Might not be worthwhile if this is a one time occurrence but if things get worse…
Turns out it isn’t a one-time occurrance. Thief stopped to have a smoke inside our neighbor’s car, and has apparently done that before.
I’m at least putting in a motion-sensor light this weekend.
Yikes. I’ve had my car broken into before, and it’s gut-wrenching. I’m glad nothing “big” was stolen, but still …
I’d be really pissed off if someone lit up a cigarette in my car. “The malady lingers on.”
