Darwinius hype

The “History Channel” which “got in on the ground floor” of this discovery, is pumping it for all it’s worth, ratings wise.

Dana Hunter at En Tequila Es Verdad has an excellently written post about the hype surrounding Darwinius Marsillae – just click the pic to go there.  It’s a case study in how mass media can be depended upon to screw up otherwise worthwhile scientific discoveries by inflating them all out of proportion.

    Everyone knows that fossils are a complete fraud perpetrated by followers of the “anti-christ”, and discussions about them and their significance is like talking about how many demons can dance on the points of a pitchfork.
