Good news for Hank Hill

My pick from Science Daily – It’s OK to keep those feelings inside, new study suggests.

In fact, people who choose not to express their feelings after such an event may be better off than those who do talk about their feelings, according to University at Buffalo psychologist Mark Seery, Ph.D., lead author of a study to appear in the June issue of Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology…

Every time something bad happens – a tornado, a school shooting, a terrorist attack, “counselors are available” to help the survivors work through their feelings.  And that’s a good thing, I suppose; some people need to talk.  But many don’t. Let ‘em know help is available, and then let ‘em be, says this study.
