Ok, music is in the ear of the listener, but what’s hot about these guys? I’d like to understand what I’m missing.
I don’t mean to be critical, but to my ear they sound like “anyband”, with a nonspecific sound, although timely in current pop generation appeal.
Back in the 80s, that’s the way spandex, big hair, and square cut jackets played.
If we survive the McCain/Hukkabee administration, let’s revisit this in a few years from our MadMax desert windblown, quonset huts.
Trust me, you’re not missing anything. I’m pretty sure it’s intentionally 80’s-sounding.
Admittedly it’s a bit obscure, but the .css is a bit like a cargo hold full of snakes, all tangled together and contradictory…
It’s always that way with diagnosing pages that were generated by whiz-bang automated style generating software. Nobody actually thought about it or did any planning. Then when it doesn’t work, someone with a plain old code editor has to open it up and find the coral snake or the 20-foot anaconda.
“I have HAD IT with these M-F selectors in this M-F style sheet!!!”
Excellent metaphor, and surprisingly enjoyable video.
But, then, I find myself a lot fonder of 80s anyband music today than I was in the 80s.
