Huckabee and Obama in Iowa

January 4, 2008

Well as you’ve probably read by now, it’s Obama and Mike “Take back America for Jesus” Huckabee.  Clinton came in third after Edwards.

I won’t say the Republicans don’t have anyone of substance running, it’s what the substance is that scares me.  Certainly nobody of the calibre of Jerry Ford.

I like Obama a lot.  As for him not being ready I think nobody’s ever ready for that office.  He is a constitutional scholar and what I’ve seen of him shows he’s really smart, he has a strong backbone, and understands that our country is doing more damage to itself than the terrorists ever could.  We need needle and thread to stitch this country back together.

Maybe Clinton should take a hint and rescind her candidacy.

Oh come on … Hillary should rescind?  Biil didn`t win a primary until North Carolina.  I am not a declared Clinton supporter, but the “anti-Hillary” ethos confounds me and is, IMO, totally illogical.

The anti-Hillary ethos is simple, she basically only cares about votes and polling. She doesn’t actually vote for something because it’s the right thing to do but because it will keep her numbers up.

It’s my impression Hillary is tied into special interests in a way Obama is not.  At least, not yet.

Oh, the other reason I despise Hillary is she has gone on the attack against Obama and Edwards. Despite the sentiments of the other candidates. She basically is showing that she really is a b****.
