Yep. No question pretty much anything you see on television is fake on some level, however relevant, necessary or genuine the point that is being made. The fact that anti-litter PSA’s resonated at all in some way does say something about the zeitgeist of the time. Today they’re regarded as rather quaint, which does not speak well of today’s ethical climate.
