I guess a stainless steel spoke is as good as a twig. Anyone know what kind of insect lays eggs like this?

Scroll down past the first photos of spiders to katydid eggs. Looks like a close match.
Thanks! It does seem to be a match. And then a Google Image search of “katydid eggs” turned up many more like it. I think it’s safe to say that is what these are.
I think I’ll put ‘em in a jar and see if I can photo them as they hatch.
