Does he think it’s a co-inky-dink that the Martian polar icecaps are also shrinking? Or maybe NASA landed fleets of SUVs to terraform the planet…..

But I have heard of the Mars canard before. Mars is exactly like Earth, except it has no oceans, thin atmosphere, a more eccentric orbit, more polar tilt, and a generally different albedo. So variations in the mars polar cap (which we have not been studying for very long, in contrast to the 650,000 years of data we have on Earth’s climate) are hardly an argument for anything.
But TGGWS sure did warm the hearts of people who just don’t want to think that pumping gigatonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere could have an effect on climate.
You don’t mention what kind of environmental specialist you are, but a cross-disciplinary spectrum of scientists take a position opposite yours. So forgive me if I don’t swoon over a TV station’s documentary.
