You know, now that you mention it I may have them wrong.  I think it’s “smirkitude of the right elbow”.

Thanks for noticing… I do strive for accuracy!  ;-)

But really, are these for real: “ooga-booga virus and smirkitude of the left elbow”?

Right now he is hanging upside down from the fingertips of my left glove, in a large plastic container on my desk.  After I am satisfied he has warmed up and dried off, I will carry him outside and hang the glove up in the eaves of my garage in a protected spot.  Perhaps he will be able to fly away then.

Of course I Googled Bat care just now and found out that handling him can cause ooga-booga virus and smirkitude of the left elbow, but I have been very careful.  And I am not planning to use that glove again (I buy cotton work gloves in bulk packages).

Once again, hope he makes it.

BTW, I just went to your website, and – what a marvellous bit of organization that is!  From the concept-mapping homepage and main pages to the topical documentation tree under “Technology Tips – collection of blog entries” (done with Treepad Business edition… I already use the free version of Treepad) – go check it out, folks!

I am definitely upgrading to the business edition of Treepad.

UPDATE: 15 Nov – he didn’t make it.  I guess rescuing animals is a chancy business especially when you know as little as I do I felt bad about this but in the paper this morning was a story about a vetenarian who did surgery on a zoo lion. nursed it back to health for 5 weeks, only it died anyway..

See this link (if it comes through as a link ;)
